Part 1

1.  What are the goals of the organization?

Humane society: Their goal is to help animals find a home who do not have a home.

Salvation Army: Their goal is to help people who are in need.

Red Cross: their goal is to help people with alot like natural disasters, swmmimg saftey, Global health, bullying… etc

2. Who do they help in the community?

Humane Society: They help the stray animals find a home and they help people who are looking for a pet find a pet.

Salvation Army: They collect clothes and other items to help people who need some help.

Red Cross: the help anyone learn about health safety etc

3.  How can volunteers help out?

Humane Society: They can help out by just being there playing with the animals, feeding them, walking them  and even just adopting or donating food  and beds.

Salvation Army: People can help organize the clothes and donate clothes. and just help out around the store.

Red Cross: You can donate and you would have to call to Find out how you help out.

 

Part 2

Choose one of the organizations you have researched and are interested in.  You will be promoting the organization and their need for volunteers.  You might want to consider the following:

1.  What does the organization do?

The humane society takes homeless animals or animals who have run away from home and they help them.

2.  Why is that important?

It is important because they help animal stay healthy and help them find a loving home.

3.  Who benefits from the organization?

Families who would like a animal and the animals who are in need.

4.  Why do they need volunteers?

Because the animals need help.

5.  How can you encourage people to volunteer for the important work the organization does?

get an application.

You will be creating a poster-digital or paper, a pamphlet we can hand out or a video.  This is an individual activity, but you can use others to help you if you need.
